Anna Southall is Vice Chair of the Big Lottery Fund, and Chair of the Fund's Living Landmarks programme. Between 1996 and 2006 she chaired the Barrow Cadbury Trust, a charitable foundation which promotes social justice, and is now 'Lead Trustee' for the Trust's Young Adults and Criminal Justice programme. She was previously Chief Executive of MLA, the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council, and before that Director of the National Museums and Galleries of Wales (1998-2002). She is a member of the Executive Committee of the Association of Charitable Foundations, and serves on the Government's Spoliation Advisory Panel.
