Chair
Until his retirement in 2008, Dugald Mackie was Vice-Principal at the University of Manchester, having previously spent over thirty years working in higher education administration and management in a number of universities and a funding council.
Judith Donovan CBE
Judith Donovan CBE was one of the first female entrepreneurs in Yorkshire, founding her own marketing agency in 1982, which she grew to over 50 staff, and a turnover of £12.5 million, before selling to her managers in 2000.
Timothy Hornsby CBE
Timothy Hornsby is currently the Chair of the Horniman Museum, and of the Harkness Fellows Association. He is an independent member of the Consumer Council for Water.
Anupam Ganguli
Anupam Ganguli is a chartered accountant and MBA, whose professional career spans Price Waterhouse Coopers, HSBC, the BBC and KPMG. His previous role was Director of Finance at the Victoria and Albert Museum. Until 2008 he was deputy chair of Arts Council England's London regional council and a council member since 2002. He was a member of the Arts Council's Stabilisation and Recovery advisory panel.
Susan Johnson OBE
Susan Johnson OBE, former Executive Director, Business Development at Yorkshire Forward, the Regional Development Agency, is the Chief Executive at County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service.
Clive Jones CBE
Clive Jones is the Chairman of Netplay, the AIM listed interactive television company, Energetic Communications, the New York marketing and events company and the Wales IP Fund. He is the sole non-executive director of S4C, the Welsh public service broadcaster. He has just completed a five year term as chairman of GMTV, Britain’s most popular breakfast television station.
Dame Jocelyn Barrow
An astute and pro-active senior executive with experience and expertise in a variety of related professions and a particular interest in community involvement. Dame Jocelyn was a founding member and General Secretary of CARD (Campaign Against Racial Discrimination), the organisation responsible for the Race Relations Legislation in 1968.
Howard Dawber
Howard Dawber has been Strategic Advisor at Canary Wharf Group since August 2004. In addition to work on corporate strategic issues, he is responsible for public affairs, government and external relations. Howard manages Canary Wharf Group’s Public and Community Affairs Department including the Social and Economic Development team.
