Tate Movie Project Premiere
31 May 2011
After 18 months of developing, planning, touring, production and editing, the Tate Movie is nearly ready. The team have been working with primary school aged children across the UK over the last year to bring together ideas, drawings, sounds and scripts for the film, The Itch of the Golden Nit, which will premiere in Leicester Square on 29 June, followed by a special free public screening in Trafalgar Square as part of the London 2012 Open Weekend (23-24 July).
Earlier this year we announced a fantastic line up of famous names including David Walliams, Catherine Tate and Harry Enfield who are voicing characters in the film. You can find a full list of the cast and a story synopsis here.
After the London screening in July, the film will also be shown at Vue cinemas across the UK over the August Bank Holiday weekend, so look out for a screening near you this summer.
